Mesa County Department of Human Services has joined Project 1.27 and other local foster care agencies for a collaborative community campaign and call to action for Mesa County to be the first “Foster Friendly” county in the State of Colorado. Our challenge is to recruit 100 businesses by May 2023 to offer exclusive discounts or services for foster and kinship families.

These businesses will have Foster Friendly badges on their storefronts and websites as well as a listing of their offers on the Foster Friendly App. When you spend your dollars there, you're supporting the 168 youth in foster care and the families caring for them.
